  • Service Address: Your address for site visits and installations.

  • Instant Quote Data: Information provided through my online calculator (uCalc) to generate your estimate.

  • Project Media: Photos/videos of your kitchen (taken before, during, and after the wrap).

  • Communication: Enquiries via Wix forms, WhatsApp, SMS, or social media.

  • Payment Data: When you use my Customer Payment Portal, I collect the "Agreed Payment Amount." Note: I do not see or store your full credit card details; these are handled directly by my payment processors.

 

3. How I Use Your Information

  • Quoting & Booking: To provide estimates and schedule your installation.

  • Payments: To process your deposit or final balance securely via the website.

  • Automated Messaging: To send your quote via SMS using ClickSend and Zapier.

  • Marketing: To showcase my work on my website or social media. I ensure no personal items like family photos or mail are visible in these shots.

 

4. Cookies and Tracking

My website uses cookies to improve your experience and make my quote tool work properly.

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are essential for the website to function, such as the security features on Wix Payments and the logic behind the uCalc quote tool. These do not require your consent.

  • Analytics Cookies: I use these to understand how visitors interact with my site. You can choose to decline these via the banner on my site.

 

5. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contract: Necessary to provide the service you requested.

  • Legitimate Interests: For internal administration and business security.

  • Consent: For using photos for marketing or sending automated quote SMS.

 

6. Sharing Your Data

I do not sell your data. I use professional third-party tools and advisors to run my business securely:

  • Website & Forms: Wix.com and uCalc.

  • Payments: Wix Payments and Klarna. To offer you Klarna’s payment options, I will pass certain aspects of your personal data (contact and order details) to Klarna at checkout. This allows Klarna to assess your eligibility and tailor their payment methods for you. Your data is handled in accordance with Klarna’s Privacy Notice.

  • Professional Advisors: I may share financial records, including bank statements and invoices (which contain customer names and payment amounts), with my accountant for the purpose of tax compliance and bookkeeping.

  • Automations: Zapier and ClickSend (for SMS delivery).

 

7. Data Retention & Security

I store your data on secure, password-protected devices. My website is hosted on Wix.com, which provides a secure platform including a firewall and HTTPS encryption for all payments. All direct payment gateways used by Wix Payments adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS.

Financial records (including bank statements shared with my accountant) are kept for 6 years to comply with HMRC requirements. Project photos may be kept in my portfolio unless you request their removal.

 

8. Your Rights & Complaints

Under UK law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Because I share data with professional advisors like my accountant, I ensure they also follow strict confidentiality and data protection standards.
