Last Updated: 23 January 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Probins Kitchen Wrapping. By paying a deposit or engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Quotations & Pricing
-
All quotations are valid for 60 days.
-
Prices are based on photos or information provided. If the actual site condition differs significantly (e.g., hidden damage or extra units), I reserve the right to adjust the final price.
-
Quotations include light sanding of "blown" or damaged doors as discussed during the quote.
3. Booking & Deposits
-
A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date.
-
No dates are confirmed or held in the diary until this deposit has been received.
-
Consumer Rights: By paying your deposit and requesting a booking date within 14 days, you agree to waive your standard 14-day cooling-off period to allow work to commence or materials to be ordered.
4. Payments, Balances & Klarna
-
The remaining 60% balance is due in full upon completion of the kitchen transformation.
-
Payment Methods: We accept Bank Transfer, Cash, or Online Card Payment (including Credit/Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna) via our secure portal.
-
Third-Party Finance (Klarna): When choosing Klarna, you are entering a separate credit agreement with Klarna Bank AB. Probins Kitchen Wrapping has no influence over credit decisions and is not responsible for failed applications or any impact these checks may have on your credit score.
-
Overpayments: If a customer overpays via the online portal, I cannot issue a refund until the funds have fully cleared into my business bank account (typically 5–7 working days).
5. Refunds & Satisfaction
-
Bespoke Service: As all kitchen wraps are custom-cut and installed specifically to your kitchen, we are unable to offer refunds once materials have been applied.
-
Our Commitment: If you are not 100% satisfied, please bring it to my attention before I leave the site. Once the final balance is paid and the installer has left, the project is considered "accepted" as completed to a high standard.
-
Colour Matching: While I provide samples, final appearance may vary depending on the lighting in your home. Once application has commenced, any change of mind regarding colour will incur a full charge for new materials and labour.
-
Vinyl Choice & Restocking: Once the deposit is paid and the vinyl has been purchased, any change of mind regarding the colour or finish will incur a restocking fee to cover supplier return costs and shipping.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
-
As deposits are non-refundable, cancellations result in the loss of the deposit.
-
Rescheduling requires a minimum of 72 hours’ notice and is subject to availability.
7. Customer Responsibilities & Preparation
-
Cleaning: Surfaces must be thoroughly degreased by the customer prior to arrival. A £50 Prep Fee applies if the kitchen is not clean upon arrival.
-
Utilities: The customer must provide adequate lighting and at least two functional power outlets in the kitchen area for the duration of the installation.
-
Silicone: Old silicone must be removed by the customer prior to arrival for worktop wraps.
-
Access & Safety: The kitchen must be a child and pet-free zone during work due to sharp tools and industrial heat equipment
-
Cleanliness & Waste: I take pride in being a tidy worker and will ensure that all project-related rubbish, such as vinyl off-cuts and packaging, is removed from your home and disposed of. I will always perform a general tidy-up of the workspace before I leave so that you can begin enjoying your kitchen’s new look immediately..
8. Repairs & Surrounding Surfaces
-
Surface Condition: I provide light sanding for damage, but cannot guarantee a factory-perfect finish on surfaces with severe water or structural damage.
