Terms and conditions for

Probins Kitchen Wrapping

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Probins Kitchen Wrapping. By paying a deposit or engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are valid for 60 days.
Prices are based on photos or information provided. If the actual site condition differs significantly (e.g., hidden damage or extra units), I reserve the right to adjust the final price.
Quotations include light sanding of "blown" or damaged doors as discussed during the quote.

3. Booking & Deposits

A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date.
No dates are confirmed or held in the diary until this deposit has been received.
Consumer Rights: By paying your deposit and requesting a booking date within 14 days, you agree to waive your standard 14-day cooling-off period to allow work to commence or materials to be ordered.

4. Payments & Balances

The remaining 60% balance is due in full upon completion of the kitchen transformation.
Payment methods accepted: Bank Transfer, Cash, or Online Card Payment including credit cards.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

As deposits are non-refundable, cancellations will result in the loss of the deposit.
Rescheduling requires a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. I will do my best to accommodate a new date, but this is subject to current availability.

6. Customer Responsibilities & Preparation

Cleaning: All units and surfaces must be thoroughly degreased and cleaned (e.g., with sugar soap) by the customer prior to arrival. If the kitchen is not clean upon arrival, a £50 Prep Fee will be added to the final balance to cover extra labor.
Silicone: Old silicone must be removed by the customer prior to arrival if worktops are being wrapped, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Hinges & Hardware: I am not responsible for pre-existing faulty hinges or screws that break/snap due to age or rust during the removal of doors or handles.
Clearance: Worktops must be completely cleared. Cupboards and drawers only need to be emptied if specifically instructed.
Access & Safety: I require a safe, clear workspace. The kitchen must be a child and pet-free zone while work is in progress due to the use of sharp tools and industrial heat equipment.

7. Repairs & Surrounding Surfaces

Surface Condition: I provide light sanding for damaged doors, but I cannot guarantee a factory-perfect finish on surfaces with severe structural or water damage.
Decor & Paint: I am not responsible for damage to surrounding paintwork, plaster, or wallpaper. This includes instances where masking tape or vinyl application/removal causes old or poorly bonded paint to peel away from walls or ceilings.
Appliances: If appliances need to be moved to access panels, this must be done by the customer. If I assist in moving appliances, it is done at the customer’s own risk.

8. Workmanship Guarantee

I provide a 24-month workmanship guarantee covering installation defects such as bubbling or delaminating.
Exclusions: This does not cover accidental damage, "wear and tear," or misuse (such as cuts from knives or picking at edges).
Silicone: Any new silicone applied must be left for 24 hours to cure. Do not touch or get the seal wet during this time.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, brand imagery, and "before and after" project photos remain the property of Probins Kitchen Wrapping™ or Samsung Interior Film (where applicable). Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials is prohibited.

10. Liability

My liability is limited to the value of the service provided. I am not liable for pre-existing damage, material limitations of the vinyl, or any indirect losses or inconvenience caused during the installation or rescheduling.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
